Summer Blog

     Over the summer, I went to a basketball camp with the school team. We played multiple games throughout that day and it was really fun. There was one game that I liked the most. We beat this team of like 7th and 8th graders 85-20. They were super trash. Everyone on the team scored so it was pretty lit.

     I look forward to this camp next year and hopefully we can see this team again and hold them to 0.  It was a good experience to meet everyone on the team and just had fun with basketball. I'm also excited to not be a freshman next year. Hopefully the camp will be equally as fun next year.

What are you grateful for?

     As I grow older and the years go by, I notice more and more how good I have it. My parents have worked really hard to give me the life I have. I am grateful for the fact that I am able to go to an extremely expensive and great private school, a thing a lot of kids can't say. I have always gone to private schools with good education and staff, making my learning experience better than a lot.      Another thing I am grateful for are my friends and family. Anytime I need people to hang out with or talk to I can go to my friends and family. They are both always there for me no matter what. Imagine how boring life would be without friends. Imagine how unstable and bad life would be without family. They are two very great things.

Strengths and Challenges

     As writers, we all have our strengths and challenges. From quotations to organization, people do some things well and they do others bad. As a writer his year I've noticed that I am pretty good at coining together quotations, citing them correctly with the write format, and using the most effective quote I can. I noticed this in the research paper when I had my conference with Dr D. She said that I embedded my quotes really well and that I used pretty effective quotes as well. But, I didn't have the greatest feedback on everything...      One thing I struggled with as a writer this year is my organization. I haven't always been able to put all my thoughts onto a paper while also being able to organize them correctly and put everything in the right spot. Free Post: Thanksgiving Day

     One of my favorite times of the year, Thanksgiving. My day started off with waking up to the smell of turkey and all kinds of other foods. I went downstairs into the kitchen where my mom was cooking. She made me go back upstairs because I had to take a shower and get dressed and stuff. When I came back down I talked to my family and watched football until dinner was ready.      As the day went by, my God Family visited to come spend the day at our house. We ate and then sat around the table and talked. Then we played some bored games and chilled. We watched more football and caught up with each other. It was a great day.
