Symbolism

There was once a man named Mike that lived in Northern Canada. He was not used to the quiet and small amount of people in Canada, since he grew up in New York City. He moved to Canada when he was twenty-seven for a job that payed him a lot of money. Before he moved, he spent time with his family in New York as a fare well. Him and his family went to Central Park, hung around the city lights, and did other typical stuff you can only do in New York.

Before he left, his mom had to give him something to remember New York by. She made him a neckless with a sky scraper and the statue of liberty on it. Those were two things he wouldn't be seeing much of in Canada. As he left he grew very sad and missed New York and his family very much. But, on the bright side, he would always have that beautiful necklace.

Symbols:
Sky Scraper and Statue of Liberty Necklace.

Symbolism:
This symbol was used to remind him of where he came from, New York City. His mom gave the necklace to him to remind him of the city boy that he is and will always be.

  1. This is a very good story. This is also a very good use of symbolism. Good job bud.

  2. This story was cute and the symbolism wasn't hard to follow, as it can sometimes be confusing to understand what the author is trying to symbolize. Great job!
